Here is the set I played out a Colony on the bank holiday before MLZ. Its fairly similar to my hoofer doofer set and is now a spent force, some tunes may come out on an album later in the year.
New drum machines and a x0xb0x in the offing have meant Ive written a new live set for the Tabernacle Record night with live keys which will hopefully will mark a step forward in sound. More raw and more powerful is the plan.

Behind that aka is hiding Toby Leeming, a 26 year old Londoner in love with Detroit’s old classics (UR, Robert Hood) and big English club culture names like LFO or A Guy Called Gerald. His first EP released in 2008 on the highly select and underground Ai Records was covered with glory by numerous influent producers, and then was quickly followed by two other EPs, still on the same label. Then, Toby met Kirk DeGiorgio who signed him on Applied Rhythmic Technology, and from this were born the tracks Messier 66, and above all Tangier, a timeless masterpiece which recalled some old Detroit’s classics, like DJ Rolando’s Knights of the Jaguar.

You’ll realize this in a short time while listening to this podcast, which only features Toby’s tracks, unreleased for most of them.
